Interact — Youth Changing the World
Interact is for 12–18 year olds who want more than just watching. Real projects, friends worldwide, skills that last forever.
Story
"I Just Wanted to Help"
Interact clubs bring together young people aged 12 to 18 to develop leadership skills and discover the power of service above self. A Rotary club sponsors mentorship and guidance as members carry out projects and build leadership skills.
"We collected toys for children in the hospital. It was not hard — but when I saw their faces, I understood: this is what it's all for."

Principles
How Interact Works
Each year Interact clubs complete at least two community service projects
At School
Club is created at a school under a local Rotary club that provides mentorship and guidance.
2 Projects a Year
One project helping the school or community. The second promotes international understanding.
International Connections
Exchanges, correspondence with clubs in other countries, international youth camps.
Self-Governance
Clubs are self-governing and self-funded. Members make their own decisions.
